Meet the Doctor Visit
The staff at Integrative Pediatrics offers a free "Meet the Doctor Visit" to all expectant parents and parents in search of a pediatrician. This is a time for parents to learn about the practice, meet the staff and interview Dr. Ramey to see if the practice is what will work well for their child. A tour of the office will also be provided.
Defeat Autism Now
Dr. Ramey views autism as a spectrum of disorders that may be due to multiple stressors. How these stressors affect each individual child depends upon that child's susceptibilities. Dr. Ramey practices using the DAN (Defeat Autism Now) philosophy. This basic philosophy of careful attention to symptoms, history, physical exam findings and lab data of each individual patient can be applied in all spectrums of her practice from infant GERD, allergies, asthma, eczema to Autism Spectrum Disorders. What goes into the body has a tremendous impact on our children's health. Dr. Ramey will gladly see patients who have an Autism Spectrum disorder or other functional abnormalities Integrative Pediatrics incorporates biomedical treatments for Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental/functional disorders. These disorders can be very challenging for families and practitioners. Integrative Pediatrics will work with you to find the treatment plan that best meets the needs of your individual child. Each individual child will have specific treatment modalities that may or may not work for that child. The pathway of finding those affective treatment modalities may be a long and bumpy road. Your child.s progress will depend upon not only our plan of care but also on commitment to adhering to this plan of care. Due to the complexity of these visits and the poor and lack of reimbursement, Integrative Pediatrics will not accept insurance, nor will we be responsible for any insurance referrals or involve in any negotiations with insurance companies in regards to the above disorders. We will gladly provide you with an invoice that you can submit to your insurance company. A New Patient Packet, Intake Questionnaire and Credit Card Authorization must be completed and mailed to the office prior to scheduling an appointment. A $100.00 non-refundable processing fee will be applied to the credit card number you provide. This fee covers the processing of the initial intake by staff and time spent by the physician reviewing the intake questionnaire prior to your initial visit. This allows for more time and efficiency during your initial visit. The fee will be applied toward your initial visit. We accept cash, Master Card, Visa and Care Credit as methods of payment. We do not accept personal checks.
Labs Laboratory testing is a crucial part of our evaluation. The physician will recommend lab tests based upon your individual child.s history and exam. Some of these tests are done by specialized labs and are very expensive. Your insurance may or not may cover these labs. We will work with you to determine a treatment plan that works within your budget, by working in a stepwise fashion. Due to the complexity of the specialized tests, the results are not given out over the phone. It is your responsibility to schedule all follow-up appointments that are needed. TREATMENT MODALITIES Integrative Pediatrics offers a multitude of treatment modalities. Some of these treatment modalities include specialized lab testing, dried blood analysis, supplements, I.V.therapies, BICOM 2000, SCIO and access to HBOT, ST, PT, and OT. As we grow we will strive to incorporate more treatment modalities at our facility to make the process easier for your child and you. Our goal is to work with you to find the treatment modality that best benefits your child. None of which are guaranteed to benefit your child or .cure. his or her disorder. There are many children who have recovered from their disorder by implementing the DAN philosophy. Due to the complexity of these children it is difficult to give advice over the phone. Please schedule an appointment for complicated issues or if you have multiple questions. We will not be responsible for negotiating with insurance companies regarding any of the above treatment modalities.
Newborn Care
We will do newborn state screening heel draw, bilirubin blood draw and circumcisions in the office. The state screen must be drawn prior to 5 days of life. Dr. Ramey will only do circumcisions in the office up to 2 weeks of age.
BICOM 2000
Integrative Pediatrics is pleased to offer bioresonance therapy using the BICOM 2000. The basic concept of bioresonance therapy is to assist the frequencies of the body to go back into balance or a harmonious state. The body then has the ability to fight illness better. Bioresonance therapy can be used for common pediatric illnesses such as colds, ear infections, sinusitis, bronchitis and much more. The optimal therapy seems to be 2-3 treatments over a 3-6 day period. Dr. Ramey has personally used bioresonance therapy for her family for years. Our patients have had great success on the BICOM 2000 and parents love the improvements that they see and the ability to potentially avoid antibiotics.

Dr. Ramey feels that immunizations are important in the prevention of some life threatening diseases. However, she also acknowledges that immunizations may have associated risks. Dr. Ramey and her staff will gladly work with parents to help educate and assist in the vaccine schedule for their child. If a parent chooses not to immunize their child they will not be dismissed from the practice; however, they must sign a refusal to immunize form. We will gladly discuss the immunization schedule and policy with parents further during an office visit.

Ear Piercing
Why have your daughter's ears pierced by someone with no medical background? Integrative Pediatrics offers ear piercing at a price of $40.00 with surgical steel post backings. This is not covered by insurance. Please call to schedule an appointment.
Nutrition Evaluation & Consultation
Proper nutrition can have such an impact on prevention of disease. Dr. Ramey and her staff will gladly work with parents to assist them in proper nutrition education. We also offer in depth nutritional analysis. She is a strong proponent of Juice Plus®, a whole food supplement consisting of 17 fruits and vegetables. Alternative Testing
Such things as Neurotransmitter testing, heavy metal testing, in depth nutrition evaluation may be used when the need arises. Dr. Ramey is willing to discuss these options with parents. Cranial Sacral Therapy, although not felt to be alternative by Dr. Ramey, is also utilized.
Laser Therapy
Introducing IPL Photorejuvenation, Laser Hair Removal, Fractional Resurfacing. Photerejuvenation is a low level form of laser therapy and has shown much success in adolescent acne. Teens are under much stress and acne can be a significant cause of low self-esteem. Laser also avoids the use of potentially toxic medications. "Moms may need (or want) special treatment too..."

Dr. Ramey admits to Florida Hospital East Orlando for her pediatric patients. Winter Park Memorial Hospital is where Dr. Ramey provides newborn care. She is not on staff at Winnie Palmer or Arnold Palmer Hospital.
